A resident of Reston, Virginia, Karen lives with her husband, their 2 dogs, Dodger & Rezzie and has recently rescued an abandoned parakeet from a home who has since earned the name, Mr. Budgie. Karen spent over twelve years as a nationally-licensed coach for competitive girls’ soccer and also served in the Olympic Development Program in Virginia. She and her husband enjoy traveling, experiencing new cultures, and are currently planning their next foray to explore a new land.
